Caleb's Story

How COD helped him get there?

With a passion for cooking, Caleb dove headfirst into the culinary and hospitality management program right out of high school. Keeping up with college classes while working initially proved to be challenging, but he dug his heels in and adopted new time management practices. 

 

His focus and hard work earned him a place in the Palm Springs Food and Wine Festival and the opportunity to train under executive chefs from San Miguel de Allende Mexico. Caleb will join one of Coachella Valley’s most profitable sectors with a competitive combination of talent and training.

Enrolled in College of the Desert in fall 2023

Where It Started

Caleb, as a full-time student, began his studies in 2023 and will finish the certificate in 2025.
