How COD helped him get there?

​

Out of high school, Frank joined the United Stated Naval Academy with aspirations of joining the military as an officer. However, an injury and 13 surgeries required him to make new plans and dream new dreams.

 

Now, 12 years after graduating high school, Frank is returning to college in hopes of gaining the skills he needs to serve others in a new way. He wants to support people in their recovery journeys just as several key people helped him.

 

While he awaits acceptance into the physical therapy assistant program, he is studying kinesiology as a full-time student. While self-doubt has been a challenge for him, the mentors he has gained in his professors, the Pride Center, and the cross-country team have helped him stay the course. He now hopes to be career-ready by May 2025.
